Melodic Vancouver punk rock about fresh starts, loud guitars, and never looking back.
Lift the Anchor is a Vancouver punk rock band built on fresh starts and loud guitars. Big hooks, gang vocals, and choruses made for basement singalongs — melodic punk with just enough grit to leave a mark.
Their story is one of pulling up roots: trading small-town beginnings and a Toronto zip code for the West Coast, chasing a clean slate and a scene worth showing up for. That restless, start-over energy runs through everything they write — songs about leaving, arriving, and figuring it out at full volume.
Their 2025 demos "Hello RPM" and "Aurora" lay out the blueprint: fast, catchy, and heart-on-sleeve, somewhere in the lineage of Sum 41, Four Year Strong, and Silverstein. Lift the Anchor are just getting started — building it one show, one singalong at a time.
