A gig-ready kit for bands rolling into town without one — touring dates, fly-ins, festival backline and studio sessions. Delivered, set up and tuned if you want it, which is the part most rentals leave to you.
Ask about a date →This is the kit I play, so it is maintained like a kit someone plays rather than one that sits in a locker between rentals. Heads get changed, not just tightened.
You can take part of it. A lot of bookings are cymbals only, or a kick and snare to fill the gap in a backline that is already at the venue — tell me what is missing rather than what you want.
A rental kit dropped at the loading door is half a job. I also set it up on the riser and tune it before doors, which on a four-band bill is the difference between a kit that sounds like a kit all night and one that sounds worse with every changeover. That is the same live setup and tuning I do for shows, and you can book it with the rental or without it.
Vancouver, Burnaby, New Westminster, Richmond, Surrey and North Vancouver as a normal run. Further up the valley or over to the Island is a question of timing rather than a no — ask with the date.
It depends on the date, how long you need it and whether you want it delivered and tuned. There is no price list on this page because a one-night fly-in and a week in a studio are not the same job, and a number that covers both is a number that is wrong for both. Send the dates and what you need and you get a straight answer, including when I am not the right option.
Ask about a date →Yes — it is mapped out piece by piece on the drum map, and there is a walk-through of the room it lives in.
Yes. Most rentals are bands passing through who I will never meet twice.
If what you actually need is a drummer for the date rather than a kit, that is most of what I do — ask about both and I will tell you which is cheaper for you.
